Surgery Complete / Partial Amputation – Sept. 15

Meg came through surgery well.

The surgeon said they had to remove her lower leg above the knee. He believes there is enough muscle they can save to be able to rebuild there.

She has to go back Friday to close all of this up.

I am hoping they are going to give her more pain relief than Tylenol, which is what they were doing through the night.

The good news is the surgeon asked the bypass team if they could move the tubes before the surgery on Friday and they indicated they might be taking her off bypass by then.
