Evening Update – Oct. 4

Apparently Facebook was down today. Was kinda busy and didn’t notice. Filed complaints with anyone who would listen. Dunno how much it helped but maybe they will get dialysis in quickly this evening.

Her procedure for the dialysis catheter got bumped a few hours so she is literally just getting into the room at 8pm.

She is supposed to get 90 minutes of dialysis. That’s half what she got last night but I have a feeling they will get started later.

Even if they roll in right now it will be going till 10:30. Every minute after now is another minute further into the night when she should be asleep.

I did have a conversation with the new PICU doctor and while she is peeing, her blood work shows she is still not cleaning her blood well enough on her own and will likely be on dialysis for a few weeks, so it made sense to do the longer term solution.

Please pray they get dialysis in quick so she can sleep tonight.
