Midday Update – Oct. 8

PTL, Megan did great on the swallow study. She has been approved to eat anything so steak and potatoes are up. I expect she won’t be able to eat much the first few days but she will be happy to be allowed to eat and drink. I’m very happy for her too.

She also got to do a tour of the hospital and get outside for a bit. That has to be the two biggest things for her mental health back to back.

• 2 rooms
• I’ve lost count of the operations
• 1 full month since she has eaten anything but ice

Today she gets food and got to leave her room to explore and even go outside.
