Afternoon Update – Oct. 10

Meg slept better last night. She woke up at 3 because she had to go potty but said she was able to go back to sleep. Susan was with her so I trust she did sleep.

I only saw her for a few minutes before leaving for church this morning but she was doing well.

I haven’t talked with the doctors yet so not sure of any other changes but Susan told me a few minutes ago that they put a cap on her trach. That is another step towards removing it, which will make Megan very happy indeed.

She is getting some Thai from her favorite Thai restaurant once I get back. Also getting “papa cookies” which are no bake cookies that papa makes. They are a favorite of the kids (and me too). I’m waiting for those to be cooked so will be back a bit later.

For now I’m hanging with the puppy, who misses everyone very much.

I also tuned and practiced guitar for the first time in over a month. A new slide came in about a month ago so when I saw it on my desk I had to see how it plays. It was a lot of fun messing around with it. Maybe I’ll pack up my guitar and take it to the hospital so we can all have some fun.

I’ll update more on Meg later. She is doing better every day.
