Morning Update – Oct. 29

Not a huge amount to report. Megan is doing better most of the time. Last night she was in a lot of pain and said, “This is going to be a bad night.” I asked her why and she said, “Everything hurts.” So I prayed for her. She responded immediately and pain left her body.

She ended up sleeping from a little after 10 to just before 7 without interruption.

I didn’t sleep so well. Partly due to not being able to get super comfortable. I really miss our bed and can’t wait to be back at home in it.

Partly because Megan talks in her sleep. In past nights she seemed uncomfortable and said things like “ow” or just groaned uncomfortably in her sleep.

Tonight Megan said, “Mom, did you order crunchy tacos?”

This morning I asked her if she ever got her crunchy tacos and she looked at me odd then said, “I had a dream I had tacos.” Then she went on to explain after I told her what she said in her sleep, “I was eating soft tacos but I was worried mom didn’t order crunchy tacos for herself.”

A little while later as I was starting to fall back asleep Megan said, “Hey, HEY! Did anyone give Link breakfast?!”

I told her about that one and she said she dreamed that we went home and she got back home and Link (our dog) kept whining so she was asking if her siblings fed him. This is a legit concern.

Anyway, I’m happy she is having more casual and happy dreams.

Prayer needs:

• Continued recovery from UTI
• Less nausea from the antibiotics for the UTI
• Over all strength and recovery
• Pain
