Evening Update – Dec. 2

Quick update. Got the protocol from infection control. Meg is considered highly infectious while she still has diarrhea. Sadly meg was all over KKI and Johns Hopkins during this time.

I’m hopeful that the antibiotics will make her asymptomatic by the end of the weekend but at least by next week.

Talked with the doctors and they understand that if Meg is confined to her room it isn’t really doing her much more good being here. She won’t have access to equipment she really needs and will likely plateau or at least significantly slow progress plus the mental stress. So we are also planning on what early discharge looks like. That was we have two viable plans in place.
