Afternoon Update – Dec. 19

No big changes from the last update. We are set to go home Thursday still.

Sunday is a rest day for Meg. She didn’t even get out of her PJs till almost 4 when they invited her down to the rec room.

I got to her room after she was already in the rec room. I was going to be here closer to 3 and could have seen her before she left but got caught in game day traffic that added an hour to the last 5 miles. Fortunately this should be the last Sunday, at least for a good long while, that I have to do this.

Meg will be back up here in 15 minutes or so but then it is time to do her dressing change. I would prefer to spend some time with her first but we have to get the dressing change while the medicine is strongest in her system.

• general recovery
