Evening Update – Jan. 1

During dressing change Megan told me her chest felt tight earlier today. I made sure her device was synced and called the cardiologist to see if she needed to go to Inova right away.

Fortunately her primary cardiologist was on call and returned the call quickly. He checked her device and said the transmission didn’t show anything concerning but if it happens again before Monday that we can bring her in to see him in the office.

I’m probably just being overly cautious but I am glad for his reassurance.

I thank God this seems to be a non-issue but would love prayers that it does not happen again for my own heart sake.
