Morning Update – Dec. 25

Merry Christmas everyone.

Last night we watched A Muppets’ Christmas Carol. I’m not sure if I got that apostrophe right. This has been a family tradition since before the kids were born. It’s done on Christmas Eve. We watch lots of other Christmas movies all of December but this one is reserved for this one night. We also sing along. Once we had a DVD with a sing along mode but we don’t really need that part now.

There is a scene/song with Tiny Tim, Bless Us All. It wrecked me. Just thinking about it brings tears. Mostly joyful tears as the song says.

But like Tiny Tim, Meg’s future was uncertain. Now we know she lives and is with us all for Christmas. It is truly a wonderous and joyful season.

I thank everyone for your prayers during this last season and continued prayers in this next season of recovery.
